The zip file contains version 0.5beta of HPCC that was downloaded from http://icl.cs.utk.edu/projectsfiles/hpcc/download/hpcc0.5beta.tar.gz on December 1, 2003. Twelve of the files in the original distribution were modified to fix bugs or clarify them. A summary of the changes is in file hpccdiffs.txt.
This file also contains a Visual Studio .Net 2003 solution hpcc.sln and appropriate projects for its components. The solution contains configurations P3-MS and P4-MS to build optimized executables for Intel X86 platforms using the Microsoft C compiler.
The include and library paths of the user's copy of Visual Studio need to include entries for his/her MPI and BLAS implementations and the linker input dependencies in the hpcc project properties need to reference the appropriate MPI and BLAS libraries. The project in the zip file references MPI/Pro and Intel MKL 6.1.
