The Java Runtime Environment is available on CTC machines.

Login Machines

• To bring up the Sun Java Console, open Internet Explorer. On the menu, select Tools, then Sun Java Console.

Batch Machines

• In the script that runs in batch, call setup_jre.bat.  This will add
  • C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin to the head of PATH.
  • C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\lib to the head of LIB.
