Building Large Projects

Introduction

Complex scientific applications require building projects that may consist of large numbers of source files written in different programming languages.

In this module, we provide some guidelines on how to port large UNIX projects to the Windows 2000 platform and assure robust functionality across various platforms and compilation using various compilers.

Prerequisites: You should already be familiar with the basic concepts of Makefiles and the compilers' command line interface.
