For Younger Kids
K.I.D.S. Report - A newsletter put together by elementary school kids. For each issue they pick a topic and find interesting web sites related to it. Some topics have been The Planets, Native Americans, and Ancient Civilizations (K.I.D.S. stands for Kids Identifying and Discovering Sites.)

NOVA Online - The TV Science Journal on PBS. This is the website specifically designed for science teachers.
NPR Science Friday Kids Connection - "Talk of the Nation: Science Friday (SciFri)" is a science talk-show that can be heard each Friday afternoon, 2-4 p.m. Eastern time, over National Public Radio (NPR). The Kids Connection site includes information about the programs, including related web links for each one. Sample topics include Electric Cars, Global Warming Update, X-ray Technology, Premature Births, and Seven Experiments that could Change the World.
Popular Science - The digital version of this popular magazine.
Science News Online - An online version of Science News magazine, updated weekly. It includes the full text of selected articles, on topics such as chocolate, crop circles, and the work of Nobel prize-winning scientists. It also includes a math-related article each week.
The Why Files - An electronic exploration of the science behind the news. General areas include science, math, engineering, and technology, with articles on subjects such as outer space, cellular biology, dinosaurs, dragon lizards, and the statistics of political polling. The Army High Performance Computing Research Center - Brief research descriptions in such diverse areas as computer hardware, astrophysics, and robotics.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory Review - This electronic journal offers a wide range of science and technology articles in subjects such as the environment, biotechnology, genetics, computational sciences, neutron research, and science education.
Projects in Scientific Computing - These articles feature some of the most exciting research being done today in various fields. They are written at a non-specialist level, and will be interesting and understandable to high school students. From Pittsburgh Supercomputer Center.
